The fact that Google has street view cars I feel goes against the privacy of a human being, what happens if a car takes a picture of a house and that window just happens and catches the homeowner in the nude. They use packet sniffing software which grabs the packets that are being sent over the air to the houses and grabs them from their router. The judge declared that this crossed the line and isn’t widely used technology. Geolocationing systems are seen as a breach of privacy to many people and courts although Google and apple say they are only using them for informational purposes only. They are using it to send ads depending on your likes and dislikes, where your position is and what locations you are near. Although all this is a great idea and new ways to get people interested in the environment and other stores around them I feel that technology today is getting more involved and deeper into a person personal life. Many people feel the same way as well as numerous judges about the topic that they stopped Google from running the street cars. It’s advancing the technological world today for the good but also if it falls into the wrong hands or teaches other how to find where people are today could cause a lot of trouble.

As technology keeps advancing their finding more ways to make socializing over the net easier and more personal to do, thus almost creating a personal interaction yet on a screen or video. People tend to anthropomorphize their computers and blame them for things that happen in them. Say a conversation ends and the person signs off on them they will tend to talk to the computer thinking something is wrong instead of thinking that person just didn’t want to talk. We do this on a daily basis for everything we own whether it is the computer, car, TV or even an appliance being used. People today depend on technology and the advances that will come with it to operate their daily lives.
